Our  Behavior Analysts

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts specialize in designing, implementing, and supervising all programs used to help our learners overcome challenges, unlock their potential, and shine like the stars they are! These are the friendly faces that will be with you and your learner every step of the way, including to provide parent support.

Rachael
Rachael

Rachael Brown

Director, M.S., BCBA, LBA

Rachael is our passionate leader at SCCD! With over 10 years of experience in autism support and early intervention, including research for the CDC, she holds a B.S in psychology from The University of Kansas, a master's in clinical psychology from Missouri State University, and completed her BCBA coursework at Florida Institute of Technology. She delights in witnessing parent's joy as their children gain the skills and confidence to do things they've never done before, and enjoys family time and exploring new restaurants in her free time.

Stacey Martin

Assistant Director, M.A., BCBA, LBA

With 30 years of experience, including 24 years as an autism/behavior specialist in the Lees Summit School District, Stacey finds joy in witnessing children's progress and training educators in innovative approaches for children with ASD and challenging behavior. She holds a B.S in Elementary and Special Education from William Woods College, a Master of Arts In Curriculum and Instruction from Webster University, and completed her BCBA coursework through Penn State University and Florida Institute of Technology. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading, and outdoor activities, and cherishes her time with family.

Emily Bassi

M.A., BCBA, LBA

Emily is a multifaceted BCBA with a Bachelor's Degree in Cross Categorical Special Education from University of Missouri-Columbia, a Master's in Early Childhood Special Education with an emphasis in autism, behavior, and language development, and completed her BCBA coursework at University of Washington. She holds a BCBA certificate, along with teaching certificates in Early Childhood, K-12 Special Ed, and Early Childhood Education. With experience in preschool education, social skills instruction, and ABA therapy, she is a force for progress! Beyond her accomplishments she is a marathon runner, avid hiker, and enjoys life's adventures with her family and dog, Louie.

Maycee Earl

M.A., BCBA, LBA

Maycee is a dedicated BCBA with a background in psychology and applied behavior analysis. She holds a B.S. from Northwest Missouri State University and completed her M.A. with an emphasis in Autism at Ball State University. She began her career at the University of Nebraska Medical Center's Munroe Meyer Institute before bringing her talents to Kansas City, joining our team first as a registered behavior technician, and then as a behavior analyst. Beyond her work, she enjoys creative pursuits like painting and cake decorating, and above all, loves spending time with her baby boy!

Addie is a compassionate BCBA who earned her B.A in Applied Behavioral Science at KU, and found her true calling in autism support while observing the Kansas Early Autism Program during her time on campus. Addie earned her M.S. in Psychology, with a focus on Applied Behavioral Analysis, from Capella University while on our team at SCCD as a registered behavior technician. Beyond her dedication to making a positive impact, Addie enjoys cooking, watching shows, spending quality time with loved ones, and playing with her adorable dog, Weller!
